St Faith's Holidays
To The Bush Inn pub via fields and woods (30-40 minutes – great for the dogs)
It is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk by road to the pub, but obviously the dogs need to be on the lead all the time. This walk is a bit longer, but is really beautiful and dogs can be off lead for many stretches of it. Please check for livestock at each gate/stile.

Leave the drive and turn left away from the hamet

At the end of the road turn left towards Coombe Valley

Continue down the road until the crossroads. Go Straight over onto the farm lane

As you go past the barns of the farm on the left look out for the public footpath sign and style on the right which takes you into the farmer’s field

Please check whether there is any livestock in the field before letting your dogs off the lead
Cross over the field to the gate where you can see the white pub ahead of you

Go through the gate and cross the next field to the next gate. (When we took the photos it was just ploughed , but obviously it may look different at different times of year!)

Go through the gate, passing the manor house, and cross the farm lane through the kissing gate down a little path

Go down the path to a gateway leading into another field. Cross the field. (Often sheep in this field) to the gate next to the telegraph pole (with the pub ahead of you)

Then walk to the kissing gate

This takes you onto another path down to the woods and river in the valley

Take the path that goes down to the right to the river

Cross the little bridge and go through the gate by the National Trust sign

At the footpath marker head up the steps

At the top of the steps you go through a gate into a field which also has sheep

At the top of the field there is a small gate which takes you into the bottom of the pub garden

The Bush Inn is a friendly 13th Century pub which does great food and has wonderful views of the sea from the conservatory and garden. Dogs are welcome (on leads) everywhere.
